Hana’s second shoot

I met up with Hana again for another shoot as I wanted to try out my new collapsible reflector. We found a field by Arthur’s Seat in Edinburgh and also a couple of pretty ponds with swans and other birds. I’ll show you some of the photos I took of them soon.

It was pretty cold outside but Hana powered through our shoot. I’m really happy with the photos and can’t wait to experiment a bit more with my reflector, although next time I think I’ll try to get an assistant to help out with positioning it. I used the gold surface for this shoot as I wanted to create a dreamy feel with a golden tint to Hana’s brown eyes. It worked out really well and I love that the catchlight of the reflector is mirrored in her eyes in a lot of the shots.
